The Legendary Downchild Blues Band are excited to announce that their longtime friend and award winning guitarist, Matt Minglewood will be joining them as a special guest for their shows at the Fredericton Playhouse on May 10, 2022 and in Saint John, NB at the Imperial Theatre, as part of The Longest 50th Anniversary Tour Ever!
“Matt and I go way back and have been friends for many years” says Donnie Walsh. “I’m thrilled he’ll be joining us on stage for a few shows to celebrate our 50th Anniversary out on the East Coast. Matt is one of the greats and it’s going to be a couple of rockin’ nights!”
3x Maple Blues Award nominee Jenie Thai will open all of the shows on Downchild’s East Coast swing with her lights out boogie woogie piano playing.
